Basketball star and conservationist Yao Ming visited the wetlands of Dongzhaigang with Rare CEO Brett Jenks and Rare Chair Emerita Wendy Paulson to see preservation efforts firsthand.

Rare is running Pride campaigns in seven critical wetland areas around China, where destructive fishing practices threaten the health of these fragile ecosystems. These Pride campaigns combine community engagement and social marketing to help change the behaviors that cause these threats.
