Rare’s reciprocal water agreement specialist Robert Yaguache explains how community engagement, through Pride campaigns, helps protect watersheds. In 2012, Rare and it’s partners successfully completed 11 Pride campaigns in the Andes to better safeguard the water supply for millions while protecting habitat for some of the world’s most endangered species. Rare is now repeating what worked in 13 new sites including expansion into Mexico.
