Annie is a Managing Director of Russell Reynolds Associates, a global executive search firm. She directs high-profile executive searches for global organizations ranging from large and specialty pharmaceuticals to biotechnology companies, to global non-profits, foundations, government and academic institutions. She also oversees executive assessments and advises boards, CEOs and other senior leadership during corporate restructuring, CEO succession planning, and board development. Annie joined Russell Reynolds Associates in the firm’s New York office in 1997 and has subsequently led the Washington, DC office for the firm. Her relevant prior experience in healthcare was in several research environments: Department of Neuropathology and Neurobiology at Johns Hopkins University Hospital, where she investigated Huntington’s Disease; Department of Neurosurgery/Cerebrovascular Disease at the University of Virginia Medical Center, where she researched simulations of stroke. Earlier, Annie conducted research at the University of Connecticut and at the Lombardi Cancer Research Center at Georgetown University. Annie received her B.A. in biology from the University of Virginia. She and her husband, Will, live with their three children in Virginia and enjoy spending as much time as they can in the mountains of Montana or off the coast of Maine.
