Thanks to Rare's supporters, more than 150 Rare-trained conservation leaders have influenced seven million people living in the most biodiverse and species-rich regions on the planet. Rare Pride campaigns have helped local environmental leaders establish protected habitat areas, create new locally managed marine parks, protect endangered species, and adopt sustainable livelihood alternatives that support long-term conservation.
